Juan V: Vol de vélo sur Turin - Bicycle theft - Forto di bicicleta I had my mountain bike stolen right next to the cinema museum at around noon in August 2021. However, I had a large chain and a U-shaped lock. So I went to file a complaint at the police station on rue Verdi. Not speaking Italian, I was asked to call the emergency number myself (112). Then I was asked for a paper photo of my bike. It seemed impossible to send this photo by Email to consider printing this document. In the middle of August, it was very difficult for me to find a place to make a paper print of a photo of my bike that could possibly hang around on my phone. Fortunately, a young boy, speaking English, was able to help me. No effort from the officer who was recording the complaints. As for the surveillance cameras that flood the streets of these tourist places (which can perfectly identify the thieves) they only serve to decorate the streets, for this kind of situation. The pretext of masks for Covid was mentioned, while no one was wearing a mask in the street. So it didn't seem to me that the police at this establishment were determined to help tourists in this type of context. The city of Turin appeared to us much less pretty after this episode and brought us back faster than expected outside the borders... Too bad! PS: I just learned, this evening (10-08-2021), that another couple of French tourists also had 2 bicycles stolen in front of the cathedral. Nour Shbaklo: Take snacks, charged phone and earphones, and a book to survive the 6 hours that you'll wait. Don't consume fluids before going because it's difficult to use the bathroom. Prepare yourself psychologically for waiting at least 5 hours. The staff are helpful but it's the most messy place. They are super slow and disorganized. I was sorry for all the elders and mothers with children who wait for the whole day.

Carlos Aguilera: It’s the worst place to do documentation, most of times rude Police & Immigration officers, even more the bald one (I think he’s the boss of something). Super high bureaucracy, long time of waiting (around 6-7 on desk, same or more ‘workers’ to check the number of your turn or giving some info), dirty waiting room & disgusting bathrooms... unfortanely the only place to do legal documentation in the city.

Nelson Leiva: 21st century and this process stayed in the year 1500. It is unbelievable. These italians like to live in the 3rd century it seems. It’s just shockingly bad. You have to wait in a weird line of a hundred people in this old dirty building for hours. I think Zimbabwe has a better digital method to notify your presence in the police. This is 5th country type of stuff. South America is light years ahead in comparison.

Ines De Nicola: This place is awful as the people who work there, rude, arrogant and lacking empathy. They treat people without any kind of dignity, I wish I had read the reviews earlier to prepare myself psychologically and physically. I was with my husband from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. approx.(WITH APPOINTMENT!!!), they gave us completely wrong and unfounded information. A waste of money and time! I feel very sorry for those who have to go there, if you have to go there bring snacks, a book, toilet paper, a good coat and patience... a lot of patience.

Slantov: Worst immigration office i've ever visited. They treat you like shi*, make you pay fees for documentation you don't need and they laugh at your face. Also, they know little or nothing about the EU law and will try to convince you to do as they please. Also bear in mind the people that work there, the immigrant officials, are not there because they want to, but because they were sent there by their superiors on their bad performances. My own experience: I was there at 11.30 am and left by 17:15. No water, no food and no heat. I carried all the documentation needed and the one requested ON SITE, still, they can all go you-know-where.

sips tea: This place is a barn, what a horrible, degrading and humiliating experience. Staff is extremely unhelpful, racist (a worker shouted “go back to your country” to someone who was asking for an information) and treat you with no respect (literally pushing you aside and telling you to go away, as if you were an animal). Be ready to wait more than 3/4 hours because they try their best to work as little as possible (but don’t you dare coming late or they’ll demand you to come the next day!!). Of course never answering calls and e-mails.
