Parco del Valentino: what do users think?

Matthew: .TOP!Restrooms: There are 2 bathrooms, 1 of which I often found closed and disused. Obviously the smell and hygiene leave something to be desired. You have to go in and out without breathing. Better than nothing thoughPicnic area: Plenty of space to spread out a blanket.

Alessandro LO GIUDICE: Lovely place in Turin.

Ginevra Giachetti: Oasis of peace, joy, the greenery that gives life to our city.Playground: Great for little ones, non-slip and soft floorDog-friendliness: The only problem is the dogs left free…

Sara C.: beautiful, especially on warm spring days.

Mario Manzo: Greedy squirrels = happiness

MIKE92 BEST: Historic place, excellent for everyone. the children have funsuper natural the best free time spent

Mattia Cernelli: Uno dei parchi più belli di Torino nonché uno dei simboli della città.

MARIA GIOVANNA TORTORA: It is the reproduction of a feudal village from the 1400s overlooking the banks of the Po, built at the end of the 19th century. The atmosphere you breathe is decidedly from another era as the houses, streets, decorations and details have been faithfully reproduced according to the Piedmontese and Aosta Valley models. It is currently undergoing renovation work and I was unable to see almost anything. I would happily return, especially after these works which will tend to last until 2025.

Alfonso Vilchez: Basilica on the outskirts of Turin, you will surely need a bus from Turin to the train that takes you to the Basilica. In winter it only works on Saturdays and Sundays, leaving at exactly the hour and returning at 1.30. From Monday to Friday, bus 79 operates, replacing the train.Regarding the Basilica, it is free and you can visit it on your own. The rest consists of the visit to the crypt of the Savoy family, among whom is Amadeo de Savoy, king of Spain, you have to see it on a guided tour in Italian, I don't know if it is in English as well, for the rest of the languages they give you a card with the explanations. Another visit is to the royal apartments, for me they are of no great interest and are expendable and finally the dome, which is probably the most striking thing. These three visits work on a schedule. At the back of the Basilica is the monument to the Torino players and coaching staff who died in a plane crash in 1949.

Royal Armoury of Turin: what do users think?

Alberto DOZZO: Beautiful chest full of unique treasures, one day's visit IS NOT ENOUGH, I absolutely have to return.

Icaro Bilal: It is worth a visit, the armory is very beautiful, the gallery is full of Flemish and Baroque paintings, the rooms of the palace are a dive into the history of the Savoy.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

Laura Cavalitto: Generous welcome upon entry. In the room detachment and cold.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Roberto Calanca: The Royal Palace of the Savoy, in the heart of Turin, is one of the most luxurious and important noble residences in the history of Italy. Even if many inexperienced tourists, as their first destination, aspire to visit the Mole Antonelliana, the Egyptian Museum, the Reggia di Venaria and the Sacra di San Michele, this magnificent construction absolutely cannot be missed from the main list of attractions. Built for centuries and enlarged several times, it has been enriched, throughout its history, with all kinds of works and decorations; the rooms that most deserve to be contemplated are undoubtedly the throne room, the dance room and the oriental room, and the route also includes the majestic Royal Gardens, recently restored. But I would like to focus in particular on something truly unique: the Royal Armoury, set up in one of the rooms of the Palace, the largest part of which extends along the Queen's Gallery. It is one of the most complete and important collections of weapons and armor in Europe. In it the most refined tastes of the Royals are shown off, expressing their pride in owning and displaying unique objects, coming from all over the world, which were not necessarily used for hunting or battle. The other day I had the immense fortune, with a group of other enthusiasts, to visit the Armory with a well-known YouTuber, Vlad Spara Storia, incredibly knowledgeable on the subject, especially on firearms; the expert showed us, on many of the pieces on display, various extremely interesting details, regarding the manufacturing method, the processing techniques, the operating mechanisms, etc. It was therefore an unforgettable experience, which further enriched the exciting path. I would like to conclude by stating that a visit to the Royal Museums is certainly welcome to everyone, even those who want to approach it with a less than "cultural" approach and even the youngest children would be enraptured in the face of such extraordinary magnificence.

Marco Fornetti: Heritage of the Turin community! to be seen!

Catherine Giudici: Fabulous collection of Italian paintings and above all, I was amazed by the extraordinary collection of armor in a gallery which reminds us of our famous Hall of Mirrors in Versailles. From the outside, the sober architecture of the real palace hides many surprises from us...

oreste saltarelli: Beautiful view!!!! The cinema museum is interesting.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Giulio Maria Truci: One painting alone is worth the ticket: Botticelli's Venus, the simpler and more fascinating sister of the Uffizi's Birth of Venus. But the list of works would be long with numerous other "surprises". Go there

S Y S.: Beautiful place, to visit not on crowded days like the first Sunday Free!!Clean bathrooms. There is a nice cafe inside, the staff is very friendly.I was super happy and surprised with its interior.I don't publish many photos, I invite you to visit it, it's worth it and the story is beautiful because it teaches us and shows us that it can last over time, and this is why I love Italy. 💚 ❤️A nice idea, buy the annual museum pass and you will have the opportunity to go to the museums of Turin and Piedmont as many times as you want 🙏🏼

Francesco Satalino: Everything perfect and intelligently organised. The arrangement of the lights is notable which, between light and shadow, allows us to admire the works and at the same time facilitates the visitor in a sort of union with the author as well as in a calm reflection on the origin of the works themselves. Nice, sure, but I really expected more.On the plus side, three other rooms on the floor were open to visitors.
