Sweet Lab: what do users think?

Bianca Terenzi: Great location - close to the train station (Torino porta nuova) and the vibe of the store is great. Cute and really clean. Food was great and good size. Cupcakes were not the best but still good experience overall. Not 5 stars just because the attention. Sometimes it seemed that were asking for a favor instead of being clients .

Khalid M.: Cozy little breakfast and brunch spot in Downtown Turin. Really enjoyed the pancakes and the coffee. Service was really good and I'd definitely come back.

Nastaran Hashemi: Highly recommended for a REAL brunch, not just a croissant and coffee :))We tried the English breakfast, banoffee french toast and eggs and sausage toast. Everything was perfect. Don’t forget to try their special smoothies.

Natalia Goncalves: The staff was very nice, but unfortunately the food and coffee were not good at all. I ordered I green smoothie bowl which was not sweet at all (I added sweetener on top) and the consistency was way too soupy. And the latte with coconut milk was unswallowble. I'm so sorry for this review but I expected so much more.

Pauline Samou: Went there for an early breakfast as we needed strength ;p. The place is quite small and get filled up pretty quickly so try to come early! :). The waitresses were quick to place us and really nice for recommendations ;). They also talked in English so was better than our broken Italian ;). Some nice choice and we were served quickly. The portions were generous and tasty! Definitely recommend but a bit pricey.

Valeria Barkhatova: I love this place😍Beautiful menu with pictures, many variants of different food, tasty. Staff friendly and helpful❤️

Stephany Miranda: Absolutely loved this place. We came in for brunch on the first day of our vacation and ended up going to their second location the next day! We couldn't get enough. They have everything you can think of when you think of brunch. Everything was super yummy, they were quick and the prices were reasonable. We even brought our dog with us. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu is fairly large. My husband had no issue finding a pescatarian meal. They also serve typical brunch drinks like bloody Mary's! Definitely recommend it and will be brunching here whenever we are in town.

Ani Sapre: Great food, great taste, great staff, lots of options. The interior decor is very nice and warm, makes you feels very comfortable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for sweat and savoury dishes. Really can't think of any negatives to take away points.

Wai Asck: This place is incredible and the girls make it better. Excellent food from sweet to salty and great atmosphere. Thank you!

Yasmine Tamer: The lab is a little gem that I found on my way to work. The decor of the place is beautiful and the food is amazing. I ordered the breakfast french toast and I was served a really thick slice of french toast smothered in goodies like yougurt, granola and fresh fruit!! I would give 6/5 starsif possible!

Lola A: This was a great find, though the sweet lab is a franchise they didn't disappoint. The food was great and the even had scones. The atmosphere was well thought out. The decor was reminiscent of an English teahouse.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Banoffee French Toast, Scones …More

Marco Delrio: Clean, elegant, quiet and comfortable place. A huge selection of breakfast, brunch and lunch food. And many more choices to be made. Definitely gonna come back to try some more delicacies. Kind and fast personnel, affordable prices and satisfying portions. Really a must. Well done.

Nithyanandh Karuppaswamy: If you are looking to have a relaxed brunch on a weekend in Torino, look no further than the SweetLab. The menu has wide variety of items that suits everybody's taste. The quantity and quality are pretty good. Top marks for the overall ambience and staff service as well.

Agustin Perotti: We had the Sunday brunch which included 2 empanadas, cake, yogurt with granola, toasties, a little salad, orange juice and coffee. Service was great and the ambience was perfect.

St R: This place is absolutely amazing! If you are looking for healthy food for breakfast/brunch or English breakfast you should go to this place.

Stephany Miranda: After having brunch at their other location the day before we decided to try this location. We absolutely love this place. It has a great selection of brunchy foods and drinks. Our dog was allowed inside and as you can see by her picture she was as mesmerized with the food as we were. The bagels are on point! Cannot wait to be back in Torino. Wish we had something like this in Milan!

Igor Stankevich: Very nice breakfast, hard to find anything like this in Turin!

Natalie Richardson: The food was ok but we had a very upsetting customer service experience. Their card machine was not working and they coldly told us we must walk to the bank to take out cash and leave our ID with them. When we said we didn't have ID with us but would go get the cash, they threatened to call the police!! It was a fast and unnecessary escalation. The whole time they didn't apologize once and acted as though it was all our fault even though none of the other customers cards were working either. We got charged high fees to take money out of the nearest bank machine and they didn't apologize once. Upsetting :-(

jane murphy: Had salmon and avocado pancakes. Delicious but the pancakes were a little thick. Lovely flavour though and very nice little place.Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Shahaf Markowitz: Breakfast was fair. The prices are too high with respect to the quality of the dishes. Not a typical Italian breakfast, but being in Turin, I would expect a higher level.

Dalila Miseo: Really tasty brunch! The best in Turin, in my opinion. The place is very small and could be pretty crowded: it's better to reserve a table.

Ingrid Opstad (That Scandinavian Feeling): If you are looking for a cozy & cool place to eat breakfast or lunch, this is the place! Super delicious sweet & savoury pancakes on the menu and very friendly staff. Just make sure to book in advance as this place is very popular.

Fabio Moriero: My friends and I had an amazing breakfast in an absolutely cool and cozy place. Super recommended.

Response: Thank you for your visit and thank you for your words....it s very important for us have your feedback about...i hope to see you soon...next time♦️. Cinzia

Mervan Ertegi: Very delicious and vegan cakes and coffee! The waiter was so nice to us. I can highly recommend this place:)
Response: Thank you for your kindness in writing the review .We are really happy that you were satisfied...Luigia, Cinzia e Antonio...to the next..and thank you...

Rique Baroncelli: A great place for tea and cake!
Response: Thank you Mr Rique....its a pleasure.... for us...have a good day

Fra M: Over 160 flavours of tea, brain melting sweets, a cozy atmosphere with a unique retro style ever the rarest. That's the break, that's the spot you were looking for..
Response: Thank you so much for yours words. Havel ben appreciated and we thank you also for the time dedicate to us. We hope to meet you again. Olsen

Annie: Best hot chocolate I have ever tasted! The staff was also very friendly.A little coffee shop in Torino if you are looking for a cosy and friendly place.

Marianna “BKoy”: Sweet aromas... One of my favorite spots. When I enter I feel like I'm inside a painting by Van Gogh. A special place, with its furnishings from the past, you feel at a friend's house where, between one chat and another, you get lost in the aromas and flavors made as in the past. Particular cake shop for people of all ages, huge selection of teas (but don't expect trivial or poor quality teas), here the quality excels ... and then my great weakness ... The cakes, in pure home style and for all palates, absolutely everyone including vegan friends... or like me who would sink my head into chocolate! Oh holy throat!!! The portions are very generous, both for the cakes and for the teapots! In short, for me the paradise! You are excellent, I even threw myself on a fantastic trio of cakes, good prices. In short, if you have a sweet tooth you cannot miss it. Oh I forgot... if you want salty you also have savory pies! What more do you want?
Response: Thank you very much ... and it is a really nice review .. we are speechless .. so happy and happy to read all these beautiful words together ... and then thanks also for the photographs he posted. In short, a really big thank you from all of us ❤

Ferdinando Calcagnile: "Olsen" is neither a cake shop nor a bistro. It is a wonderful little place where you can have a pleasant experience, between sweet and savory specialties at all hours of the day, as well as having breakfast at 17:00 in the evening. Inside, around ten tables immersed in a collection of objects and copies of the French school, which give the place the atmosphere of a research antiquarian, an exhibition counter to make the taste buds explode; interesting the idea of giving a name to each table. I appreciated the cordiality and kindness of the owners and staff, who offer a simple, easy-going service and this makes staying in the restaurant even more pleasant. The proposed menu satisfies everyone and varies every day with dishes mostly home-made and others prepared with products purchased from Piedmontese suppliers, such as the crowds (paste di corn, baci di dama) from the province of Cuneo, which have revolutionized my snack. The cakes are simple, not very elaborate, with that typical and recognizable taste of "homemade"; I personally tasted the Sacher, in its variant with white chocolate and wild berry jam, accompanying it all with a cappuccino from the more than satisfactory cafeteria service. The wall covered with tin boxes that hold the vast selection of teas, infusions and herbal teas to choose from, no less than eighty-five, is fascinating. What to say, if you want to carve out a moment of relaxation for yourself or in company, you must pop into this place and you will not be disappointed. Until next time!
Response: Ferdinand, very kind Ferdinand. Thanking for such nice words about our Olsen isn't enough. We are happy to convey familiarity ... this is what we seek, ; we proceed every day in our work with extreme simplicity ... this translates into savory production ... in the kitchen and in sweet cakes ... we live work as home. And the walls of the shop are our past… they represent it well. We thank you for stopping by..thank you for the words and sharing. They are a great help for everything... we appreciate the photos and your kind way of being. .thanks again💕❤️

Chiara Soloperto: The vegan orange cinnamon and apple pie was excellent, the hot chocolate (also vegan) was delicious and served in characteristic cups. The place is very nice and the staff very kind. Delighted for all vegan choices. I advise!
Response: Thanks Chiara, I really appreciate the time you have dedicated to us ... coming to taste our simple products ... and then writing the review ... important for us ... to get feedback that always improves us Thank you, see you soon Olsen

simo pozzi: Really delicious place for the retro atmosphere. Many small objects that make the environment precious. The tasting solution of the dishes of the day is excellent, so you can get an idea of the proposals. I enjoyed flan and quiche.
Response: Thanks Simo...also for the photos..beautiful. Thank you for the desire to write and photograph us.. useful, beautiful, pleasant... see you soon dear customers ❤

Marco: We happened upon it by chance for lunch. Very nice place, it looks like a shop from other times. Excellent food, cozy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic pies and side dishes.
Response: What a beautiful review 🎄 thank you very much. We are pleased and it makes us feel good ... to read your words. Thank you for choosing to have lunch with us and we wish you and your family wonderful holidays. Olsen.

Davide Psycho: Very pleasant place to eat something after museum visit. You must choose the cake share of 5 portions. The owner really welcome.Prices really affordable

Clare Milford: We came here for afternoon tea to have some cake and coffee. Lovely relaxed atmosphere inside. We ordered the 10 euro selection of cakes and received a huge plate with five full sized slices of the various cakes they had in the cabinet. Great value and the bicerin wasn't bad either!

Shadey De Rosa: Location: Convitto Café is located in a very beautiful and old area, in the heart of Torino, just behind Via Po. It’s very cozy, furnished in warm colors and well decorated, warm. I definitely loved the music it has been played as well! Food and drink: good and tasty choice of coffees and drinks in general. There are many different cakes and pastries in general and a lot of choice for vegan people as well. The vegan Sacher was incredible! Service: fast, efficient, polite! Definitely recommended :)))

Random Explorer: One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Cake was freshly made & delicious. If you are travelling to torino city then don’t miss your chance to taste Convitto’s best cake

Juanjuan Xing: Very friendly staff and extremely cozy atmosphere inside.Peach, and biscuits cake is very tasty. So is the bicerin☺️Wow the #turinyellow!

Asger Tornquist: Not the quality it used to have some years back. The cakes are still good, but the lunch food is well below the standards of most other lunch restaurants in Turin. Go here for tea and cake; but find another place for food.

Sarah Wen: Best bakery and tea in Turin. With lots of vegan options!
Response: ❤️😊

Yami Yume: Not as many cakes as expected but the one I tried was delicious.

Erdem Aksoy: Very nice café with great staff, I love the atmosphere... They have great coffee, great cakes and most importantly a large variety of teas which is hard to find in Turin...

Gavin Phoon: 4 stars for the red wine recommended by a young female staff. Chanced upon this place after the Egyptian museum. One man's meat is another poison though...😉

Gerla 1927 Ristorante Caffetteria: what do users think?

Liudmyla Pozniak (Liudok): Very comfortable and nice place. The personal is polite. I didn't wait too long for order. Only one bad thing for me - the payment for service that was included in bill. I prefer to know about such things before

Gareth Page: This particular branch of Gerla 1927 is situated in a quiet, wide colonnade and exudes a vibe customers might associate with Venice's Florian or Genoa's Pasticceria Gelateria Mangini. Turin is the city of Lavazza, and that's the coffee served in Gerla and it's obvious the baristas know what they're doing but the problem I have with Gerla is the service. Without going into detail, I was ignored when I went to order and I was ignored when I went to pay, possibly because I'd stoically waited for one member of staff to finish a lengthy idle chat with another customer, a demonstration of patience in the face of indifference. Even after finishing the coffee it seemed that my cash wasn't as important as some social media post. Rudeness or snobbery, I found the attitude unpalatable and I won't ever go there again

Lindsey Stafford-Scott: Gorgeous traditional cafeteria. Delicious cocktails and appetizers. Good service. A little expensive , €21 for 1 beer and a cocktail but the appetizers with it were good.Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Efry Eltahan: We had coffee and a special pastry which was a bit expensive, but very professional so i don't complain. The place is very historic and interesting. It's nice to imagine people enjoying each others company there throughout the last century. It's a very hot summer so there were no chocolates on display. There's a little room with a display of historic molds for chocolates and boxes. Everything is kept clean. Overall, a nice and unique experience.

Matías Lujan: Bello posto, excelente servizio. My italian isn’t the best and they were very helpful!

Sara Dacci: Probably a little bit of the history of Turin is passing by elegant places like Gerla 1927

Paul m: The Cioccolata Calda was the perfect drink on a cold Sunday afternoon. Smooth, thick and decadent chocolate. Great venue with the restaurant/cafe separate from their chocolatier shop. Great experience, really friendly staff.

Tomáš Lukeš: Good restaurant, but we expect maybe little more for that price

Marco Romano: Disappointing. High price and lower quality food - the entrecote was too cooked and not tasty. The salad was expensive. Grissini (bread) were homemade and exceptionally good. Short waiting time but slow service (e.g. to bring more bread). We had a Prosecco refill without asking, then it was charged as second round. First time I visited, won't come back for sure.

kivalily: Drink coffee like a queen for poverina prices :) fantastic staff and service,I recommend the agnolotti and cappuccino

Barbiturici: what do users think?

Fabrizio Goria: After more than three years spent in Washington, DC, my wife, our cat and I moved to Turin at the end of December. And I was pretty in agony, since I love brunch and savory breakfast. Barbiturici is a very solid choice for American-ish breakfast, the classic one with scrambled eggs (really wonderful), bacon and toast. Also, the list of Club Sandwiches is enormous, and all of them looks great. I haven't tried the burgers, but I'll do pretty soon. Service is fast and easy going, the coffee is very good, prices too. If you want a true American brunch, come here. Reservations are not mandatory, but recommended, since the place is quite small.

Ni Da: The food and smothies were very good. It came out pretty fast and it was a nice and friendly space.

Salvtor: Love coming here for brunch. Great club sandwiches too! Staff is easy going and atmosphere is casual.

史東: Brilliant breakfast, greeted with hospitality. LGBT friendly.

Stefano Nunes: I loved the vibe at this place and the food was fantastic. They have a very good breakfast menu, a wide assortment of club sandwiches, salads, hamburgers and sides. I had the pulled pork special and it was incredible, my gf had the reuben and it was perfectly made. I was also impressed by their fresh juices. The service was very attentive as well.

Carlo Scibilia: Nice bistrot with a wide choice of both breakfast and lunch dishes, many of whom are American-style. Very nice staff. Good quality, but the choice of desserts is a bit poor. Small location, one definitely needs to place a reservation.

Roberto Olivazzo: Very cosy place, serving very nice food with a twist (not the usual menu) and a smile. Book in advance since the place is not big and it's in a trendy area. Not easy to park your car, but worth the effort.

Caffetteria Pino: what do users think?

laura V: It's a treasure finding! A small coffee shop where the owner is not making just coffee. Well, it's coffee alright, but it's made in a way that gives a special taste to it. Practically he is spoiling his clients offering them some very unique (taste) experience. The quality...yeah, it is high. Make me wanna go back and have another one... and another one.. It's good, really. Liked the place, pictures will speak for me.

Maciek Gruchala: Delicious coffee and amazing atmosphere!
Response: Thanks for the kind thought

Nikkol Young: My favorite bar!! The profumo of caffè is filling of the bar when you entra in, the brioche buonissimo! 5 stars suggestion!

tomo n: Very cozy place and coffee was very good! Many people's waiting for have nice coffee and brioche.
Response: Thanks for the kind thought☕️

Andrea Maria Benedetto: A very nice and cosy place. Pino is taking well care as well of health and safety of customers, so you feel safe and relaxed

Z Al Hashim: The best

CLAUDIA DE VITA: Super!

Lorenza Vigna: TOP!!

Cucchiets: Superb bar in the Parella area that offers breakfast, coffee, croissants, etc. The quality of the brioche is precisely the reason why I have been coming here for some time: the dough is always fresh, crumbly and never dry, the fillings are generous (but with prices that remain very modest) and incredibly tasty, the cream is delicate and the pistachio it is very loaded with flavour. Outside there are numerous plants and a couple of tables, while the interior is enchanting with a very intimate atmosphere and paintings hanging on the wall, it is a small space but full of decorations. Highly recommended, Pino is always kind and polite, as well as one of the few to respect distances and limit entry due to covid.
Response: Thank you with all my heart

Luca Nanì (PainLuca): Bar with a vintage and very particular style: very nice to see. The cappuccino is truly exquisite among the best I've ever tasted with a full-bodied taste that remains in the mouth and the same thing for the pistachio croissant (made with Bronte pistachio) which has a very tasty jam and paste (taken 'another time I came here while this time I took the ricotta and chocolate croissant which is present in the photo). In summary, it's a bar where I highly recommend going to anyone who wants to enjoy a quality breakfast :) Edit: later I also tried the Moroccan and this was delicious too!
Response: Thanks for the kind thought

Croissanterie Poirot: what do users think?

pamela austria: The vegan croissant is really the best! You have to be very early to catch one because its their best seller. Actually everything that they offer are really good. Must try.😊

Srushti Goud: Nice croissant and sweets here. Really fresh and tasty. I was hoping for real apples in the croissant but it was jam so I took away that one star.

Anne Caro P.: I really liked the sfogliatella frolla!! plus the owner is very friendly, a place to come back!

Thiago Stricht: Freshly baked croissants followed by a warm smile early in the morning!Best way to start the day.

Simon Drauz: Don‘t know a place where they do better cornettos. And still only 1,10€!

Zyonin R.: Wonderful croissants and other goodies. Go there in the morning, buy an assortment and take them to enjoy with a hot caffeinated beverage.

wikaa24: the buns with ricotta were perfect, the croissant with pistachio cream not bad but not perfect, the cream was weird

David Hirsch: Great pastries, a true life saver!!

Angelo Gambuto: Top

Lorenzo: I've always been around a lot in various pastry shops and these are undoubtedly the best croissants in the neighborhood, hands down. I leave 4 stars only because a few years ago, when I met this croissanterie, they were even better, they were in fact a little more crunchy and when cut they were more honeycomb, honeycomb ... I preferred them before. But they are still very good! However high level and excellent ingredients. I recommend going early in the morning to enjoy them at their best. Anyone who loves a croissant and is from the neighborhood should definitely get them here. The owners are very kind people and always with a smile.

Pastarell: what do users think?

Vivacious Vagabond: A stone’s throw from the Porta Susa train station, Pastarell serves as a great place to start or end your stay in the beautiful city of Turin - and a wonderful cafe at which to spend time during your stay! The cafe itself is quite tight when it comes to space - but that’s mostly due to the fact that people in the know flock to Pastarell! There’s a small seating area along an interior wall - and plenty of seating outdoors. The staff are kind and attentive - and the pastry and coffee won’t disappoint!

camilla cerutti: Pastries are 5 stars!! (very sweet), there is a huge choice and it is better to take them away, as the place is very busy and a little bit chaotic. The actual place is small and cute but no much space inside, outside is basic and not very clean, and, to pay you have to go back inside and wait with all the others. Service quick, pay slow. Toilet is difficult to reach, as you have to ask the keys, enter in another building, cross the courtyard and find the bathroom.

Pepita Mendieta: The coffee is good, the brioches and pastries are excellent. The staff is very friendly. The big issues are the number of pigeons and the lack of proper hygiene of the tables. That’s the reason I give a 2 and not a 5 🤢

Alex: Simply divine! Photos cannot do these pastries justice. If you order takeaway they come in an adorable gold box. They also do great coffee.

İkbal Hümay ARMAN: Always busy. Nice coffee latte. I tried zeppola, limone zest, cornetto. Zeppola forno is better than frittiria means baked via oven/fried. You have to wait in line but they serve well.

Stefano Rufus: Best neapolitan pastry shop in town!!

Sukhwinder singh: Zeppola di San giuseppe al forno spettacolo. Try this dish from Naples you will love it. In Italian they say right about Naples "vedi Napoli e poi muori". Authentic Naples breakfast items served with rich heart of native waiters.

Emily Robinson: Simply not good customer service. I ordered for a latte and got a stale cold coffee and the waiter wasn’t looking any friendly either. Since it was a rush hour, I got my bad coffee and just left. The pastries looked a bit soggy and sugar laden

Alicja Sobieraj: Very delicious! 😋🥐 Nice service 👌 Greetings from Poland!

B G: The best coffee and pastry is in here! The service should be faster any way - i do not see the point of queuing at the chaser desk, when i can pay at the table.

Caffè Degli Atenei: what do users think?

Luigi Panetta: Too good to be true. The food is cheap and tastes great. The place itself is kinda small but it’s very accommodating and the staff is friendly. Tried all the diners in the zone and this is absolutely the best one

Marzia Cavallo: Kind and polite staff. Cheap. Very good coffee!

Gypsyduo: Great food and service. Will come back

Christian Spinola: Bombersss

Riccardo Coda: Very nice bar, croissants and coffee at 2.20 for breakfast is a good price also taking into account the convenient area to reach. Very positive note the staff, super friendly, helpful and patient (with a friend of mine I stayed two hours even after consuming), a bonus!

Silvia Emma: Excellent breakfast, a million stars goes to the courtesy, smiles and kindness of all of you! Thank you, finally a bar where you can come back soon and willingly!

Selvaggia Faggiuolo: I have been frequenting this bar for 5 years now, excellent from coffee to lunch, but above all for the bomber aperitif. It's like family now ❤

vanessa: Great atmosphere, very nice and friendly staff. It is also possible to have lunch with excellent dishes prepared on the day. Coffee is always accompanied by a small biscuit.

Luca Nanì (PainLuca): I had a delicious and abundant cappuccino and a good muffin. The prices are very low and the owner is very nice and nice. Highly recommended!
Response: Luca!!! You are a bomber !!! We like to be there and always improve !! 🙏🙏🙏

Massimo Capelli: Ideal for students and simple and inexpensive business lunches. Brilliant and quick guys.
