I go to this place a lot if I have to buy a gift as they have many beautiful items to choose from ranging from low to high prise. Highly recommend to visit it and usually they also have things on sale.

Thea: Very well-stocked and very convenient supermarket, as it is located at the entrance of Porta Nuova! The prices are still low and there is a wide range of products to choose from, such as ready meals (very useful for travelers), deli and rotisserie, and an infinity of sweet and savory snacks! There is also a fairly large selection of fruit and vegetables. Obviously there are also products for hygiene, for the home, for pets and so on. I found a drink I had never seen before: a bottle of Zymil Latte e Caffè, excellent as a much cheaper substitute for the very similar Starbucks brick that can be found in many supermarkets. There are both normal and express checkouts, and in some it is not possible to pay with cash, only ATMs and the like.

Roberta R: Supermarket a little smaller than the usual Esselunga stores nearby but well stocked. It is located inside the Porta Nuova station. Here you can find everything from fruit to meat. There is a delicatessen department with various cold cuts and cheeses and next to it there is a department for ready meals such as roast chicken, pasta, etc. Fast boxes with scanners are available to scan the products independently. The staff is nice. This shop is suitable for a quick shopping without having to compromise on quality!
Andrea Vercelli: This supermarket is located inside the Porta Nuova station, therefore in the center. I went there on foot, but for those coming by car, they have a voucher for the parking space, spending, I think, at least €20. The restaurant is large enough to be in the center and the supply of products is good. Among other things, I bought two chicken legs on a spit... frankly they didn't drive me crazy, I'm really tasty and a little stringy (at least to my taste). The idea of self-service tills is good (I think only for those who pay by debit or credit card) which should speed up operations, but the way to access the tills creates queues and slowdowns as customers are made to pass through only one lane and only subsequently sorted. Nothing serious is clear, also because at least in my case, an employee recommended the use of automatic cash machines for those interested in paying by card. I used this option, independently passing the products to the scanner, speeding up the process considerably.
Giovanna Torti: This morning at about 1.30 pm I filled the trolley with several products, even exceeding the quantity because I thought I would have home delivery. It was a considerable expense but I was told that there were no deliveries on Sundays. I am 76 years old and was unable to provide for myself. I have not found any information about it, nor kindness. I'm sorry, I think Esselunga is an excellent supermarket but lacking in organization.
Paola Autino Toci: I am very happy with the well-stocked store in Porta Nuova, but there is a small negative note: at the checkout counters, you have to be Flash for everything !!!! I would like to remind you that in addition to taking out the card, even with the mobile phone, in addition to downloading the stuff and then taking it back it takes some time, but you don't have time to do something that already makes another person arrive and you understand that you are literally thrown out. Today in particular the cashier smiled with her colleague because she was distracted by the boy who bumped me with his stuff, from taking the rest of the cash I hadn't heard her say "do you want a bag?" .... I felt taken around even if kindly, but I always have the feeling that I have to do everything in a hurry !!!!

Red Dawn: I found out about La Perla di Torino through a Vienniese shop which had few tartufi and liked it so much that i googled the companys webpage. Immediately i decided to order directly from them as i saw that there is so much more to try. I basically ordered almost everything, and found 4-5 favorites. As i am ordering from Austria, i always have to pay high shipping fee, but its worth it, i just make sure my order is big enough to make sense paying this fee. My package comes in 2 working days in perfect condition and in summer it was delivered with ice blocks. In the meantime i ordered 5-6 times and will keep doing so as its my favorite chocolates and spreads ever.

Pavel Macek: Not exactly on the main touristic routes through the city, this hidden gem of culinary experiences served locals sweet and savoury delights for the first time already more than 100 years ago. And there is literally something for everyone as the small, almost all "one-bite" treats take unbelievable range of shapes, colours and flavours. Simply make your own plate based on your spoiled taste...
Dmitry Filatov: I am sad that I didn't find this place earlier. I've never before eaten a croissant with sooo big portion of chocolate (those of you who really like chocolate croissants know what I mean - usually it's just a taste of it). And it was "Molto gustoso", really. We enjoyed the aesthetics of the place that quiet Sunday morning, watching stuff busy with packing delicious orders (variety of cakes, pastries) and thinking how lucky are people who can try all these delicacies. Sadly, we had to rush to the airport. So - don't miss this place, come early enough to enjoy it in full :)
Punyaphat Saengchan: It's the one historical café and recommended by Turino tourism. Apart from coffee, you can find decent patisseries with superb quality. Chocolates are great and very appropriate for having them as souvenirs. The location is near to the train station, Turino Porta Nueva. If you have time and want to experience 100-year-old café, visit here.
Pavol Celuch: Beautiful pastries and coffee. They also have selection of chocolates. Definitely worth the stop.
